LPPC: Unqualified Support for Kelliher
Instrumental in restoring order to electric markets beset by uncertainty

The Large Public Power Council (LPPC) has offered its "unqualified support
for the re-nomination of Joseph T. Kelliher to the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission."
Attached is a letter for attribution from LPPC Chair Joseph Beal to
Chairman Bingaman and all members of the Senate Committee on Energy &
Natural Resources.
The LPPC's membership includes 24 of the nation's largest publicly owned,
not-for-profit energy systems. Members are located in 11 states and
provide power to some of the largest cities in the country including Los
Angeles, Seattle, Omaha, Phoenix, Orlando and Austin.
