On the most recent episode of Grid Talk, LPPC Chair and Austin Energy’s General Manager Jackie Sargent joined host Marty Rosenberg to talk about Austin Energy’s push to become carbon-free by 2035. At the heart of this push is an emphasis on customer support and assistance. Austin Energy has one of the most robust customer-assistance programs in the country, and Sargent stressed that “addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion” are important factors in achieving Austin Energy’s carbon-free goals.
