LPPC Signs onto Letter Urging Congress to Reauthorize CISA 2015

The Large Public Power Council (LPPC), which represents 29 of the largest not-for-profit public power utilities in the U.S., signed onto a letter this week with dozens of diverse industry associations, urging Congress to reauthorize the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA 2015) before it expires on September 30.
CISA 2015 enables trusted information-sharing between government and the private sector, strengthening protections for America’s energy grid and other critical infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. We urge Congress to act swiftly to ensure utilities and businesses have the tools they need to defend against cyberattacks.
